The Pacific Musical Society & Foundation is a charitable fellowship of classical music lovers dedicated to fostering the art of classical music and ensuring the success of young classical musicians in the San Francisco Bay Area. Founded in 1910, we are the oldest active musical organization in the Bay Area.

Through your financial support, the Pacific Musical Society & Foundation directly sponsors talented young musicians through our annual competition and works to support the continued interest in and viability of classical music in the Bay Area and beyond. You can read more about our mission here and see the highlight performances from our 2019 annual competition finals below:

Our annual competition identifies the next generation of stellar young artists and provides significant scholarship support.

We are planning a new program of community engagement to kick off in the Fall of 2019. Contact us if you would like to bring classical music to your community!

Your financial support sponsors scholarships for talented student musicians and funds our efforts to support them through their careers.
